Make music with us this summer! Throughout August 2023 we’ll be running open music sessions every Thursday and Saturday 12-2pm at Planet Sounds in Southampton. If you are under 18 and interested in music then come and join us, SoCo will have a team of music leaders ready to help you, whether you want to perform, practice, produce, record or collaborate, we can help.
All genres catered for, from rap to indie, folk to jazz. You don’t need to be a musician, its a safe and friendly place to hang out.
Planet Sounds is Southampton’s longest running rehearsal rooms, nestled under the arches of Central Bridge, check out the map below for directions. It’s a great space, and it’s kitted out with drums, amps and PA – everything a band needs. We’ve also got some great music tech and a pro studio set up, so we can record your songs/tracks/bars.
You don’t need to book, sessions are free and you can drop in at anytime between 12 and 2pm on Thursdays and Saturdays throughout August.
