We are excited to share that we will be celebrating the end of a really successful project next week.
Over the last twelve months, we have been working with partners in across the arts – Mayflower Theatre, Artful Scribe, ZoieLogic Dance – and Youth Offending, VRU, Education and Children’s Services including The Polygon School, Oasis Academy Lordshill, Oasis Academy Sholing and Redbridge Community School – to provide positive, inspiring and engaging activities for young people.
Using music, drama, literacy and dance, our work has been supporting young people between 12 and 25 to make positive choices. By providing biweekly hands on creative sessions, we have opened the door to rich and meaningful journeys for some of the most vulnerable young people in Southampton.
On Tuesday 21st June, we will come together with all who have been involved to celebrate the end of this amazing 12 months. Young people have given the project their all and, between them, created some astonishing work. Read more about the project below.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Hampshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for funding this vital work. And watch this space! We will be sharing the incredible work the young people have done over coming weeks.
