We’re looking for Community Music Practitioners to work on our Community Adult Learning Programme.
Our Community Adult Learning Programme provides music interventions that support improvements in the health and wellbeing of adult groups. Our programmes include music-making for those with mental health issues, in recovery from addiction, neurologically diverse groups, and women’s-only support programmes.
The Community Music Practitioners will work closely with the Project Manager to deliver this programme.
Essential Capabilities
● Experience of delivering community music practice
● Excellent musical skills (performance and/or music production)
● Creative and reflexive delivery style
● Excellent communication skills
● Experience of planning accumulative programmes of creative activity
Desirable:
● Degree level qualification
● Music or teaching Qualification
● Proficiency in at least 1 musical instrument, songwriting and music production
● Experience in project working, planning and service development
● Access to own transport
● Registered as self employed
Available budget:
● £25-£35 per hour (3 hours per delivery session)
● Travel expenses may be reimbursed
● Additional budget is available for planning meetings and music leader CPD / training.
