Did you know that we run weekly Songwriting sessions for adults in Southampton who are struggling with issues relating to their mental health?
We know that music is both a comfort to listen to and a place to express yourself when it might be tricky to do so elsewhere. There’s something about making music and writing song lyrics that doesn’t have to ‘make sense’ as long as it can make sense of how you’re feeling and we’ve created a dedicated space for you to unlock your creativity and develop your songs, with the support of our amazing Music Leaders.
Whether you’re an experienced songwriter or just getting started on your songwriting journey, you are warmly invited to join our free weekly sessions, and hone your craft through a variety of games, exercises and activities. There’s no judgement about where you are at in your health, or songwriting skills.
We meet every Monday, from 13.30 to 15.00 at The Pavilion in Hoglands Park. This is near the skate park and the postcode is SO14 1NH.
Cost: Free
